Shawn Burns, Senior Vice President of Schneider Electric group, with François Rychlewski, Sales Leader South Europe at Marketo said that a big group like them faces huge challenges to engage customers in a digital world. Innovation requires to understand customer journey every single day because customers are searching everything everywhere. They no longer use products the way they did before. Customers are looking for new solutions, we have to give it to them. How can we innovate at every level of the customer journey ? 1) Fails are an opportunity to innovate Schneider Electric works on the searches that meet a dead end, because it’s a means to innovate, it’s an opportunity for a new service, a new way to help the customers. 2) Look at the way customers are making their decisions Every customer journey is consuming rich media in every process of research. They search everything and look at videos all the time. 3) Adapt content and format to smartphones Smartphones are touching every single segment Schneider has. Smartphones visits are exponentially growing each year and everything they do has to be small because of the smartphone screen's size. 4) Invest in service in the IoT Services in the IoT are growing massively.
